Using our Player Stat Matrix, the overall rating is calculated as you build the design. Check out how this works in our Player Matrix Page
Within the player matrix, you can confirm which position the player plays in. You can have up to 3 positions. Note: Goalkeepers will have a different statistic profile.
We use the teams/club crest as captured on the reverse. We also include the league logo (typically all grassroots soccer we'll use the Football Australia Limited logo). Let us know if this is different for your team though.
Upload the player portrait and we'll do the rest including removing the background, improving the lighting. We'll crop in players from the shoulder up.
Printed exactly as submitted in the Player Matrix, shown clearly beneath the portrait.
Stats are automated using our unique player matrix. You do not have to spend hours refining/tracking every stat. Use the stat matrix to build your player statistics using their player Archetype and 2 main skills. You then can adjust the ratings using our star allocation system but this matrix ensures everyone has a card to be proud of.
The basics behind all player stats. Choose the player Archetype from the list and two main skills. This then is the basis of the player stats, creating a variety of players and excitement for future development. Coaches can even use the player matrix to drive certain training drills and reward players at the end of the season.

Player Archetypes | Icons

Every player card is built from an Archetype: the foundation of their stats and on-field identity.

Magician (FWD/CAM)

Magician (FWD/CAM)

The Magician archetype describes a forward whose game is built on close control and vision rather than raw power, someone who can beat a defender in a tight space and still see the pass a heartbeat later. As the base of the card's stats, it leans heavily into dribbling and passing, giving these players the tools to conjure chances out of nothing and link up play in the final third.

Finisher (ST)

Finisher (ST)

Finisher describes an out-and-out striker whose stats are built around one job: putting the ball in the net. It's a shooting-led archetype, giving these players a natural composure in front of goal and a knack for coming out on top in one-on-one duels with the keeper.

Target (FWD)

Target (FWD)

The Target archetype is a physical forward built to lead the line, someone teammates can aim for and trust to hold the ball up under pressure. Its stat base draws heavily on physicality and shooting, making these players a genuine threat in the air and a reliable focal point the rest of the attack plays off.

Spark (Wide Forward)

Spark (Wide Forward)

Spark describes a wide attacker whose game is built for speed, someone who lives for the one-on-one battle out wide and the space in behind a full-back. The archetype leans on pace and dribbling as its stat foundation, giving these players the acceleration to beat their marker and the flair to deliver a dangerous ball into the box.

Creator (CAM)

Creator (CAM)

The Creator archetype is an attacking midfielder whose stats are weighted around vision and distribution, the kind of player who sees a defence-splitting pass before anyone else on the pitch does. It's a passing-led base, built to reward incisive through balls and the clever distribution that turns a stubborn, organised backline into an open one.

Recycler (MID)

Recycler (MID)

Recycler describes a central midfielder whose value is in tempo, someone who wins the ball back and gets it moving again without wasting a touch. Its stat base balances passing with defensive work rate, giving these players the engine to shuttle possession quickly from defence into attack.

Maestro (MID)

Maestro (MID)

The Maestro archetype sits deeper than a typical attacking midfielder, controlling the game from central areas rather than the final third. Its stats are built heavily around passing and vision, giving these players the precision to dictate tempo and the range to unlock a defence with a single ball played from deep.

Box-To-Box (Engine)

Box-To-Box (Engine)

Box-To-Box describes a midfielder built on stamina rather than any single standout skill, the kind of player who is still covering every blade of grass in the 90th minute. Physicality anchors this archetype's stat base, giving these players relentless coverage across the pitch and a level of output that rarely drops off late in games.

Progressor (CB)

Progressor (CB)

The Progressor archetype is a modern centre-back whose stats blend defending with passing, built for a player comfortable stepping out of the back line rather than just sitting in it. It rewards a defender who can carry or pass the ball forward with confidence, turning a routine clearance into the first pass of an attacking move.

Boss (DEF)

Boss (DEF)

Boss describes an old-school defender whose stat base is weighted toward defending and physicality above all else. It's built for the player who wins headers, wins the physical battles, and leads the backline through sheer presence and strength rather than the ball at their feet.

Marauder (FB)

Marauder (FB)

The Marauder archetype is a modern, attacking fullback whose stats balance pace and defending, built for a player who bombs forward to support the attack and still recovers to do their defensive job. It rewards an aggressive, high-energy fullback who can influence the game at both ends of the pitch.

Shot Stopper (GK)

Shot Stopper (GK)

The Shot Stopper (GK) archetype describes a reflex-first goalkeeper whose stats lean on reaction saves rather than distribution or sweeping. It's built for the keeper who thrives in one-on-one situations and produces the spectacular, match-saving stop when the team needs it most.

Sweeper Keeper (GK)

Sweeper Keeper (GK)

Sweeper Keeper describes a modern goalkeeper archetype whose stats extend beyond shot-stopping into kicking and positioning, built for a keeper who plays like an extra outfield defender. It rewards the confidence to come off the line, clear danger before it reaches the box, and start attacks with the ball at their feet rather than just their hands.

Finishing Skills

The skill tags that sharpen a player's edge in front of goal.

Power Shot

Power Shot

A player with Power Shot hits the ball hard and true, turning half-chances into goals with minimal backlift. It's the finishing instinct every striker dreams of: quick to react, confident under pressure, and clinical when it matters most in front of goal.

Finesse Shot

Finesse Shot

Finesse Shot describes a player who can bend the ball around defenders and goalkeepers rather than blast straight through them. Their shots carry extra swerve and improved accuracy, making them a threat from tight angles where a straight strike would never find the net.

Low Driven Shot

Low Driven Shot

A player with Low Driven Shot keeps their shots skimming along the turf with real pace behind them. Low, powerful strikes are notoriously hard for goalkeepers to react to, especially through a crowded box, making this a favourite trait for composed strikers.

Precision Header

Precision Header

Precision Header marks out a player who wins the ball in the air and directs it on target with real purpose. Better timing, accuracy and power on headers mean they're a genuine goal threat from crosses, corners and set pieces alike.

Acrobatic

Acrobatic

A player with Acrobatic strikes the ball cleanly first-time, without needing to control it first. Better contact on volleys turns fast, awkward deliveries into genuine scoring chances. It's the kind of technical finish that lights up a highlight reel.

Chip Shot

Chip Shot

Chip Shot describes a player with the composure to lift the ball delicately over an advancing goalkeeper. Faster, more accurate chips reward quick thinking and a light touch, punishing keepers who stray too far off their line.

Game Changer

Game Changer

A player with Game Changer brings creativity to the moment of truth, favouring improvised, unpredictable finishes over the textbook option. Better accuracy on these instinctive finishes means the unexpected effort is just as likely to end up in the net.

Dead Ball

Dead Ball

Dead Ball highlights a player who can be trusted over a set piece. Better free kicks and corners mean they turn stoppages in play into genuine scoring opportunities, often becoming the go-to option whenever the whistle blows for a foul near the box.

Whipped Pass

Whipped Pass

A player with Whipped Pass bends fast, curved crosses into dangerous areas from wide positions. It's a trait that turns a simple ball into the box into a genuine goal threat, giving attacking teammates something to attack rather than just a cross to defend.

Long Ball Pass

Long Ball Pass

Long Ball Pass marks a player who can switch play or find a teammate over real distance with a lobbed ball. Faster, more accurate long passes let a team change direction quickly, catching opponents out of position before they can reset.

Pinged Pass

Pinged Pass

Inventive

Inventive
